Hello

I always had a heart and compassion for helping people; especially the eldering  and the disable. I have been working with the seniors and the disabled population  for over 35 years; independently or through various entities and I love it!! I was  born in Brooklyn, New York and raised around a closed knitted family. I spend a  lot of time with my maternal grandmother. She worked the 11pm-7am shift as a  nurse’s aide in pediatric nursery at Wycoff Heights Hospital in Brooklyn for over  30 years. In my eyes she was the most loving, compassion and giving person I ever  met. I watched how she would pour out her love to people so selflessly and give,  share, and show compassion so effortlessly. She would always tell me it costs  nothing to be kind to people and a little kindness goes a long way. She instilled  these valved in me along with her love for Jesus Christ. I had the privilege of being  able to take care of my grandmother during her latter days; she left this world too  soon in body; however, she left behind her love, compassion, caring, sharing, and  giving spirit through me. Now, I present it to you through Latter Days Help For  Seniors.

During COVID, I was out every day making sure that my elderly neighbors or  friends had what they needed because that was important to me. The aftermath of  Covid left some of the elderly devastated in many ways. For example; some lost  their spouses thus losing income, some children had to move away due to the

economy, some health declined, some when into depression and other mental  health diagnosis due to isolation, and the list goes on.
